In and around the National Library of France, routines and systems of order become visible. Thoughts begin to wander. They take on a life of their own, strolling and racing, until the books begin to dance. Documentary photographs, sketches, and distorted images shape the publication. The focus lies not only on the library and its visitors, but also on the worlds into which our imagination can lead us.
